First, think about which features you need. Then take the respective models from the manufacturers (costs are similarly high at a comparable quality level) and choose the ones that appeal to you the most in terms of operation and appearance.
We ultimately ended up with Neff (we looked at Bosch, Siemens, Miele, and Neff – we quickly ruled out Gorenje, as they are technically significantly less advanced, i.e., not comparable; Gaggenau etc. was not within our desired price range). We also have the induction cooktop with downdraft ventilation and a grate. Nice piece! Plus 2 ovens, one with an integrated microwave, the other is a DGC.
By the way, I can’t quite agree with nordlys here. Simple technology... great, but I don’t want to drive a Dacia either. It works, but why not have a little fun. Features just make it more complex and cost accordingly, but they also make it exciting. We cook a lot and enjoy it.
Nowadays, you have the possibility to integrate relatively "affordable" professional-grade cookware into the kitchen. If you like to cook a lot and often, that is a great addition and opens up new possibilities and fun. Especially the DGC cookers are simply brilliant, even though you sometimes have to spend 1,500€ - 4,000€ on them.
