They are supposed to be very light concrete-look tiles in gray, with dark gray wooden furniture -- similar to the 3rd photo - only the tiles lighter.
Personally, I find that a bit too much gray (and I love gray and industrial style), but too much is too much.
I would therefore tile up to the height of the stud wall, so about 120/130 across the width of the toilet and washbasin, or pull the tiles a bit higher, around 140/150.
However: Give the cabinet a warm wood tone and reflect this in the shower tile. Paint the other two walls neutrally in warm white.
We have tiles up to the ceiling simply because of cleaning!
Oops! Tiles need to be scrubbed from time to time. Painted plaster doesn’t. So have fun stretching.
