Stairs - Are the stair dimensions 2.00x2.00m okay?

Tastes are so different.... this staircase gives me the creeps. I think if you've ever seen a cat slip through or a child sneak past the stair guard and hang on the stairs, you don't want open stairs anymore. Personally, I also find (again, everyone can decide for themselves) the pointed steps very terrible; for me, the feeling of walking on a straight staircase or a platform staircase is much more pleasant.

Yes, you're good. If I could wish for something, I'd take a curved staircase with a 4m diameter and nostalgic wrought iron railing. But this isn't about wishful thinking right now. A half-turned single-flight staircase for 2x2m is being sought. Landing is not an option either!

I find it visually successful. I like it...

This is a different staircase, so it also looks narrower, but it is probably liked more because the color and decoration are subtle.

Just by the way: How high does the staircase have to be? So room height + ceiling = ?

I get creeped out by that too. A built-in central stringer makes a big difference, then you don’t look diagonally through a shaft where a railing stands around the staircase construction like a sculpture made of square tubes. For cats, risers are a must, I agree. With these two details, the same staircase floor plan looks completely different than in the creepy picture.

With a landing and thus without a spiral, the staircase would practically grow by the depth of the landing (or a little more), which would "upset" the floor plan.

As I said, go ahead and build it as drawn.
