the one you then stub your toes on? and it wasn’t bought that expensively. it already looks good when finished. sure, it can be better, but in the end it’s just another sink. and I can do without that for now. there are more important things like, for example, a cabinet that holds more.

End caps are visually missing with you - it looks quite sterile in the photos and the impression is reinforced by the minimalist washbasin.

My opinion - you have to like it.

BTW: How one is supposed to stub their toes on the position with the door hinge is beyond me.

our additional budget for the bathroom was somewhat reduced by other expensive extras and we focused on the essentials. we now have a larger bathtub and a 100x100 shower tray that is almost flush with the floor. and then the money was almost all spent, or rather the construction company didn’t offer anything reasonable for a "reasonable surcharge". there were 2-3 nice things but they would have cost over 1000 bucks each. we’d rather buy a new sink ourselves in a few years. we have timeless tiles that theoretically will last "forever" at first.

and correct, it has to please us after all, the large glass door to the shower was relatively cheap

Yeah, I also think white is good - we were very conservative with all the bathrooms. Color can be introduced through decorations & painting, tiles stay with you for what feels like an eternity. I know about the shrinking budget...

Hello everyone,

I think here you can also post the guest toilets. Most people surely have one, and you can make a science out of everything.

Our guest toilet should preferably have a door that opens outward, so you don't have to walk around the door in the already cramped area.

The interior width should not be too small so that there is still space to turn the page of a newspaper.

A ventilation system for odors should also not be missing in the small room :eek _O

Here is the mirror made in gloss and black so that it fits somewhat with the washbasin:

Regarding wallpaper in the guest toilet: I think you can do that

Since the guest toilet is very long, we decided at short notice to set the wall at the entrance at an angle. This creates a much better sense of space in the hallway in front and I think it gives it a bit more flair

If you look closely at the picture above; I had the fuse box installed there. This way I don’t have to hang a picture in the hallway like most people to hide it

Below it is the control box for the underfloor heating. It is easily accessible and the annoying box is not in the hallway or even the main bathroom!

Now, about the illuminated niche;
I find it a shame when expensive fittings are installed in the bathroom, but the stupid shut-off valves and preferably also the water meters are visible on the wall.
That’s why these things have found a place here, which is easily accessible (magnetic mirror, easy to remove)

maybe a little food for thought for bathroom planning

Best regards

Hello,

many builders could learn a lot from you and your bathrooms - there are quite a few nice details that one could implement for oneself, at least you can get some ideas. Thank you very much for the private insight.
Personally, there are too many highlights and reflections on mirrored surfaces for me.
