Guest WC: Lower the ceiling or cover the pipe?

We had also considered that, but now want to place the washbasin directly against the wall after all; we don’t really like the pre-wall installation. That way you lose those 20 cm and it’s wasted space. Unfortunately, we were only informed about this very late or I thought all the time it was just a floor penetration. Otherwise, I might have planned it differently, pipe in the drywall or something similar.

80x80 was also too small for us, so we wanted at least 100x80.
Casing up to the door is not possible because the opening is already only about 65 cm. If the pipe had been on the other side of the shower (on the interior wall), one could have nicely made the casing there and would have ended up at 80x80, which I unfortunately didn't consider.
The only option I still like would be to run the pipe along the ceiling in the shower, then make a wall opening through the masonry projection, and then run the pipe box down behind the toilet (picture 2 in the first post). But I have to ask the plumber if that isn't too many bends and what he says about the wall opening.

For some of the detailed questions from you and in how many variants you decline them, I think you might be even crazier than I am. That sometimes seems to me to border on a residual risk phobia. Do you dare to cut a cheese sandwich without using a set square?

We are talking here, mind you, about a pipe in the corner of a shower in the guest toilet, not in the corner of a wellness main shower.

I agree with you that it might be a bit exaggerated.
What bothers me is that when I build a house and spend so much money on it, I expect a certain look, and sometimes I just can’t understand how one can plan it that way at all. After all, plenty of draftsmen and planners have looked at the plans and found no better solution or were too unmotivated? I also know houses where I don’t see a single pipe casing.
And when I think about a shower, I don’t want a pipe in it, I just expect that. Since I’m not a professional, none of this was clear to me, and there was no information about it beforehand.
I’m just looking for a somewhat practical solution to compensate for the planning mistake.
I would almost be ashamed to let someone into that shower. They would think, what kind of house is this...

Oh, come on. Everyone knows that a shower in the guest bathroom is not the main shower. And everyone knows such laypeople – unless they are one themselves – who don't automatically think that a floor opening must be there because of something in the room below. This happens "in the best families." And this detail anxiety "had to happen" now that a generation of prenatal diagnostic parents are becoming builders. Back when not all builders knew about each other thanks to internet forums, there was no less botching and bungling than today – at least as far as boom periods can only be compared with other boom periods.

Of course, it is a personal feeling, but honestly. I hardly believe anyone will really notice that there is a box in the corner. I would leave it as it is now and that's it. It should have been planned differently beforehand, but now I wouldn't try to adjust it with too much effort, which would significantly restrict the shower afterwards.
