I see the tile situation in the shower bathroom the same way as . I also prefer fewer tiles rather than more, but it simply looks visually consistent. Therefore, I would not stop at the WC, but do it exactly as visualized; a break in the tiles would seem like "trying to save money" in this case.

In the guest WC, doing it as shown is certainly not wrong, I would like that. I also don't see where one should omit tiles there. With plants, a nice mirror, or similar, one can add a personal touch if desired.

Thank you for your suggestions - I think we will actually do it the way shown in the drafts :)

Do you find the color scheme regarding the tiles to be harmonious? Our idea was that since the rooms are relatively small, we would go for light gray tiles in the guest WC and sand-colored / light brown tiles in the bathroom. Does that seem contemporary to you?
You can certainly debate the fittings; we really like black, but we had actually already considered quite normal, chrome-plated fittings, a white radiator, and a white shower tray... but you keep pondering. :D

Contemporary eventually ceases to be contemporary.

Therefore, we decided on what we like best and what has as few shapes or patterns as possible, because we get tired of them quickly.

It’s always a matter of taste, but for me personally, the chrome faucet in the guest WC doesn’t go with the black washbasin and in the bathroom the black faucet doesn’t match the white washbasin.

And personally, I’m also not a fan of coloring the strips on the tile, but again, that’s a matter of taste :)

I expressed myself a bit wrongly – the sanitary objects, fittings, etc., were simply placed into the designs by the tile studio according to their taste. We are currently leaning quite simply towards a white washbasin, white shower with chrome fittings. :)

But we do like the black trims and black fittings as well... These are always decisions that are incredibly hard for us – yes, I know, luxury problems ;)

In the guest toilet, you don't have to change much if you no longer like the black fixtures.

We had the "problem" a year ago as well, couldn’t really decide either...

Of course, you can exchange parts again if you don’t like them anymore, but personally I didn’t want to invest 10k during the sampling just to replace the things again after two or three years.

After endless back and forth, we settled on white and chrome and we are super happy with it :)
