Should photovoltaic design be considered with the heat pump or not?

Photovoltaics as large as possible. So also confidently 15 or 18 kWp. Basically, the system will also pay off through the 8-cent feed-in tariff. Moreover, every green kWh is great! You can also get a cheap 5 kWh battery for around 3k. This will significantly increase your self-consumption again in 8 or 9 months (200 cycles x 5 kWh = 1000 kWh).

First of all, thank you for the answers.

That will probably be similar to building a house.
Equity plus own contribution plus loan.

I don't know pvgis yet.

Attempted twice to get quotes.
One didn't write any at all because I didn't want a battery.
The second offered with battery and installation flat rate including scaffolding etc.
Neither the battery nor the scaffolding was desired.
Meanwhile, I rather assume that I will buy a pallet of photovoltaic modules including mounting brackets through a friend who is an electrical engineer.

The calculation doesn't work out; 5 kWh storage with 200 cycles (which I doubt) is maybe 800 kWh.
Storage loss and usable capacity are often forgotten there.

The orientation of the house is of course not optimal In January, 478kWh are missing in the heat pump consumption

So if you plan to build it yourself, I would just order the components cheaply online and then install them.
And if you’re at it, cover the whole roof!

I meant more the region and the orientation of the house, but I think you can see that quite well at the bottom of the picture.
The southern orientations should be roughly around 950 kWh/kWp and the northern ones about 750 kWh/kWp.
So it should still pay off if you build it yourself.
But not if you buy at high prices.

I think so, possibly scaffolding and a forklift borrowed from relatives barely 100m away.
Angle grinder, drill, all available in multiples.
I’m a bit more cautious about ordering on the internet because I have no idea what is cheap junk and what is good.
However, the project will only start in spring, for now our hopefully pregnant dog has priority.

Hello cyclist,
Your post is already a little while ago. How did you decide? Is the topic still relevant?

Since February of this year, we have had a photovoltaic system on the roof and of course, we also obtained several offers. At the end of the day, it is always a question of price and what you want to spend. Among other things, we had an offer for all 4 roof surfaces. That came to a hefty €48,000. That was too expensive for me. For more than two roof surfaces, you also need two inverters and that makes it expensive.

The fact is that a storage system increases your autonomy compared to a system without storage. The storage basically serves to cover the energy demand in the house at night. It can also support the heat pump in winter. The heat pump operates with an electric heating element in winter.
