Silicone resin or dispersion - Which paint for interior?

Synthetic and natural dispersion paints have low to good water vapor permeability... This does not work very well against mold formation.

In real estate ownership, people usually make sure not to apply the 3 euro Aldi paint. If there were no differences between the paints, they certainly wouldn’t all run to the proper store to buy decent paint as soon as they are no longer tenants...

I would want neither dispersion nor silicone resin on my walls.
Silicate would be my choice.

The question/assumption is less about whether you buy cheap in terms of price and more about whether you buy "cheap" in terms of quality. The price is only an indicator of that.
