Roller shutters and venetian blinds in anthracite - what disadvantages?

I don't find it so nice from the inside because you are always looking at such a large very dark surface.

You are right! Even white would build a bunker. But with venetian blinds I would feel watched at night by the two boys from the neighborhood who make a dare out of who can slightly spread the slats from the outside with their fingers.

Both can be somewhat mitigated by creating a lot of light staging in the GARDEN.

Even though 2021 was not really a special hot year. Can you report how your real test went? I personally wouldn’t call your RAL 9007 dark, but definitely darker than silver :). I am generally grateful for feedback on dark slats, especially if someone also has experience comparing them to a lighter color :cool:. Even though our plan is actually RAL 9005, which is truly black, not grey or anthracite. Our main concern is mostly the heat inside the house, but also the colorfastness, meaning how much a single-color slat fades over the next 10-15 years (maybe even 20 :)).
