Size of the bedroom and children's room

You will have some room in the current apartment that is about the same size.
Although 14m2 is probably sufficient for 95% of people.
Under 14m2 should probably be avoided in new construction.

...we are currently living in the city in an apartment with 2 rooms and 63 sqm... Our bedroom is 19 sqm... So unfortunately, I don't have a room that is similarly sized.

I would say the rooms are completely adequate. We are also starting to build in the coming weeks and have chosen similar children's room sizes.

I don't find the rooms small at all and in my opinion, they are also well laid out.

I also find the size sufficient. However, I would move the door in the children's room opposite the bedroom so that there is 60cm of space behind the door, to prevent the wardrobe from being in the way.

Two general comments on your floor plan:
Your guest/ironing room is basically the largest room on the upper floor. Is that really what you want?
The children's rooms face north. Again, the question is whether that is really what you want.

I would swap the room assignments. Possibly put the children's rooms at the bottom of the plan (then they won't be woken up by the shower etc., and you can make the room that then becomes the guest room a bit smaller).

That's a good idea! However, I don't see how you could make one room a bit bigger? Or one smaller? Because there are windows everywhere...

But you're definitely right about the children's rooms! Those will be the two lower ones... Thanks already!
