Look at page 22, image 41 in the link. Maybe it will help with the argumentation towards the editor.

Yes, every supplier of prefabricated garages.

That’s not your issue and therefore totally far-fetched!

I have read much more clever formulations from users who are hoping for answers....

Rhenish greetings

No, unfortunately not there either. But I checked again and the 20sqm really count for both the garage AND the storage room.

Exactly the last two pages here were not my topic...
But thanks for your helpful contribution!

Link with note sent, however, in these cases you have to be very careful to match the correct commentary to the correct law. Musketier has linked the Bavarian version, which does not have to be identical to the Brandenburg one and, as far as I have checked, it is not.

This ranges from the Building Code to the respective State Building Regulations, special provisions in the building area down to case-by-case decisions – and this is usually not to be clarified here in the forum, but always only with the help of professional planners on site, i.e. building authority, architect, publicly appointed surveyor.

Best regards

That is correct. However, the formulations in both regulations were identical. I had checked that beforehand. That there can be different explanations for the two regulations despite the same legal text contradicts all logic, but unfortunately is true.

Yes, thank you both for the link! I also came across this picture a few days ago while googling. And according to the picture, for small garages under 100 sqm with a storage room under 20 sqm, no fire wall is required, but the wall must be made of non-combustible materials. Unfortunately, this seems to be viewed differently in Brandenburg, where the 20 sqm for garage and storage room count together. And I doubt that I can change the processor's mind with the picture. In short, the garage company is now in demand. I am curious and expect an answer by tomorrow afternoon at the latest.
