We have 12 sockets. 3-3-4 and there have actually been days when 1-2 blocks were full. Not always with meaningful things, but full. I would simply make more than you consider sensible now. Then you won’t get annoyed later. We also put individual sockets behind the tall cabinets. One of them became the microwave, which we placed in the cabinet for reasons of ugliness, and the second will be for the vacuum cleaner in the household cabinet.

My plan at the beginning was to put at least a double socket in every corner of the room. I couldn’t assert myself and my wife had to admit that it was partially a mistake to forbid me that. Something is always missing. ;) Except in our kitchen (so far).

Here: Four above the countertop, that is two too few.

4 at the cooktop. 4 at the sink island.

Permanently occupied: 0
Maximum occupied simultaneously so far: 2

Fewer would have sufficed.

Why sacrifice? There are power outlets with two integrated USB ports. So three devices in one standard socket.

4 on the countertop, of which 2 are occupied, one each in the window, one free above the highboard, one by the door, and I believe one in a corner (hidden by the display cabinet). In total, therefore, 9 sockets (3 constantly occupied) plus extractor fan, refrigerator, oven, and a spare socket behind the gas stove in case it is switched back to electric.

Better to have a few more sockets installed than to have to work with distribution boxes or rearrange later... although rearranging is not a big effort either.
