Semi-detached house yes or no

We have it the same way, washing machine and dryer on the 1st floor, as a mini laundry room with a door from the bathroom. Works great, shorter distances are not possible.

Also, the doors are completely opposite, left and right. Practically zero contact with the neighbor, as it's a different generation and fully oriented to the other side.

Never heard anything from the neighbors in the house, and never received complaints about us, despite metal and drums...

Terraces side by side, yes, it doesn't bother us.

Why would it be a mess in the bathroom? We haven't bought the shell yet, we have an appointment with the construction company next week, but the bricklayers are finished, yes. The shell is standing, windows are in, and the roof is on, but no screed yet and the walls are not plastered yet either.

Basically, there's nothing against wood or steel, we just have a masonry one in the rental house and don't find it bad, and we want closed stair treads.

Yes, we want to continue building with the company. They initially planned to sell it completely turnkey, so the house is currently not actively offered as "for sale." Since we found out about it by chance, we could now buy it and plan and design the remaining construction together with the company. If anything, we would possibly only have one wall changed/moved on the upper floor between the two children's rooms and the bathroom and one children's room. If that is not necessary, it wouldn't be too bad either. As for the shell construction, everything stands, that is, exterior and interior walls, including the roof, and the windows are installed; nothing more has been done so far, no screed, etc.

The layout seems to be very well done. The entrance doors are centrally located at the front. When you enter the left side of the house, you stand in a vestibule, with the bathroom and storage room to the right, then straight ahead after the vestibule is the staircase where the spiral stairs go up on the left, and to the left the door to the kitchen. The kitchen then extends leftwards back to the front side of the house; when you enter through the door, you are practically at the dining table, and to the right it goes into the large living area. The terraces are each located on the outer side of the house, in the left semi-detached house practically on the far left, then garden, then the neighbor, who also has garden again first and then his terrace on the far right. Also, the kitchens are each located on the outer house wall. The garages are built on the left and right of the house respectively as extensions to the front outer wall.
