Erecting a construction crane - but there's no space?

Surely that should have been clarified beforehand, but I hired a construction company, so it’s not my job to pay attention to such details, right?

The meadow next to the construction site is clear but cannot be driven on because there is no access road.

Okay. Then it is an air cable with a small cross-section. If Enso does it roughly, probably 4 digits 2-3 thousand. All without guarantee.

Yes, it is. You are the client. Take a look at your documents to see what you need to provide. This includes free access for cranes and trucks. This is not about a 6m clearance width at all, but about the fact that cranes under overhead lines are a bad idea.

That can still change. The question is whether it is quicker and cheaper to arrange this than to take down the line.

Hey,
can't your construction company come with a small truck crane like that?
Our wooden house was set up like that because a normal crane didn't work either - there was space but the forest was in the way.

I would ask, it probably costs less than relocating the cables.

Best regards, Tina

Hello Tina,

Thank you for your response. The site manager is checking if a smaller crane is possible. But I think a truck crane won't work either, because it cannot unload the parts from the truck due to the [Leitung].

Just talk to him about it, our house including the truck crane also had to go under a line like that, our phone line.

If necessary, maybe put some gravel on the meadow and place it "next to" the setup area.

I'll check the pictures tomorrow, it really needed little space and was super maneuverable.
Best regards Tina
