Next steps for the new lawn

Give it some fertilizer now before the rain! A little! Not wheelbarrow loads. About a 5L bucket for 250sqm. No more. Don’t mow yet. Don’t overseed yet. The rake still destroys too much.

And when exactly do you mean? It’s supposed to rain here starting Monday. Is it better to do it this evening (as soon as the strongest sun is gone) or only tomorrow evening so that no sunny day follows after fertilizing?

You must avoid having the fertilizer remain undissolved on the delicate, young blade of grass for a long time; it does not like that. The fertilizer "burns."

I would also leave the weeds alone, the lawn will push them away if it is mowed regularly.

Last year, 2 weeks before the great drought, I temporarily sowed grass on an area and also watered too little.

Temporarily means the substrate was well-settled sifted soil (used to be topsoil from a field) and I was aware that we would have to go over it again with the excavator on a large scale this year. Therefore, I used cheap seeds, did not work very carefully, and out of stinginess watered too little. It looked similar, at the beginning I almost only mowed weeds.
