Never in Schilda. The shoulder-high tidal range between the raw and finished terrain simply introduces a new quality to an otherwise decidedly less dramatic issue here.

Here is already a special situation.

The advantage is that the front area could actually be separated a bit from the rear area, because the middle house starts at least 2 m further back.

The problem is just that everything is running well with Goalkeeper at the moment .. and as far as I can see, the move-in will be sometime in early summer.

The middle builder is currently making plans and doesn't even have a shell builder yet. However, they are currently not waiting for orders but usually have their 2020 order book full by now at the latest. So for me, it is really questionable whether the middle builder will get a chance at all before the end of the year.

Our temporary solution for 1 year. Of course, it's nice to have everything finished before moving in, but that's not always possible, whether because of money or personal effort.

The parking lot was just mineral concrete for us even for 2 years. It grows bit by bit and we have neighbors who built before us and still aren't finished.

We currently have an issue with the outdoor unit of the heat pump. We originally wanted to place it in front of the window of the guest WC facing the street. However, it now turns out that the building authority does not allow this (see also excerpt from the development plan).

The outdoor unit must apparently be within the building window. However, only 30 cm remain there – we would probably need 60 cm.

Are the outdoor units actually considered ancillary facilities according to Paragraph 14?

Alternatively, it would have to be at the back of the garden, on the side of the house, although the manufacturer's maximum pipe length of 20 m is almost reached with 19.5 m.

Good question. Check the building regulations. In Hesse, there are defined exceptions for setback areas in the state building code. This initially does not apply to the windows of the development plan, but if nothing at all is defined about heat pumps in the development plan, in my opinion the classification of the state building code applies.

In Hesse, for example, there is an exemption for wood piles of a certain size, doghouses, garbage sheds, and also "systems for heating, cooling, or energy supply" as long as none of these have a building-like effect. You are allowed to place that stuff within the setback areas here.

Maybe this mnemonic works for you too. A 20m cooling line is really not nice.

A heat pump is not an auxiliary system. Therefore, it does not need to be included in the building envelope [Baufenster] there are enough contributions.
