To my knowledge, a garden shed is also an outbuilding. You can understand the point well and exclude garden houses if you understand the purpose of the planting:
You are not supposed to build anything there, but rather to plant and maintain the area for the common good.

Neighborhood law. It should be stated there.

The floor area ratio refers to the buildable area, not the planted area.

You will get more info from your state building code.

Hello 11ant,

Thanks first of all for your answer.

I now have the complete development plan here attached, which should help to clarify things. :) (mea culpa)
I have marked the intended building plot in red on the planning drawing, as well as the side of the semi-detached house with a red dot.
The other semi-detached half is to be built at the same time with a building partner.

The reason I asked about this planting is as follows:
For us, it is crucial where we should/can place the semi-detached house in the building window (shown in blue).
Either completely at the boundary to the street or set further back, away from the street.
Because if we cannot use 3m of this "PRIVATE green area" regarding planting, then in my opinion that is worth considering.
It is certainly not "decisive for the outcome," or in your words "peanuts," but the plot should then be usable as much as possible according to our ideas in terms of tool sheds or lawn area with fence!
For this plot, we are talking about 314 sqm and the semi-detached house is to be built in the dimensions 7m x 10m.

As you correctly recognized, it is a hillside location, and I know the plot not only on paper but also in reality.
The building area is being developed in my place of residence. Currently, the infrastructure works are being carried out.

You should ask your building authority.
I found this.
5. Setback areas dormer windows according to Art. 6 para. 8 BayBO 2013 Dormer windows may be considered "subordinate" and thus disregarded when measuring the setback areas, as long as they do not collectively occupy more than one third of the width of the exterior wall of the respective building, but not more than a total of 5 m. At the same time, the visible area of "subordinate" dormers must not exceed 4 m2 each and have a maximum height of 2.5 m.
In our development plan, the dimensions have been additionally restricted.

You are allowed to - just only with plants from the plant list. With a house length of 10 meters, you would have about 12.5 meters* of rear garden land left + the planted strip. That is more than many single-family homeowners have "behind" their house. * the length of the entire property is guessed here.

You are allowed to - but only with plants from the plant list. With a house length of 10 meters, you would have about 12.5 meters* of backyard garden land left + the planted strip. That is more than some single-family homeowners have "behind" their house. * the length of the entire property is estimated here.

...the length of the property is about 28.5m and the width about 11m. The building boundary to the neighboring property is 3m. (except for the garage, which may be placed boundary-side)

The building boundaries or the building envelope for the house structure are 17m in length. From the driveway side, I already have to set back 5.5m because of the garage. We actually wanted to move the semi-detached half back another 2.5m because of a light well for the basement. Our junior (14) wants a basement room... so the total house rear wall length is about 18m. That leaves about 10.5m of garden backyard. Then 3m terrace width (total 21m | house structure + terrace). If I then subtract this 3m planting width, there is still a "residual green strip" of about 4.5m x 11m. If we then add a small tool shed, the green area unfortunately gets smaller and smaller... and that is exactly where I am somehow looking to find the balance....
