We really cannot complain about our GÜ in any way: when the foundation recommendation from the soil surveyor was rejected by the structural engineer, he went all out and looked for a way so that the current foundation solution would not be more expensive. He strictly adhered to our start date and now the matter with the crane.
Truly extremely professional. Especially since it apparently won't cost us anything extra. He will probably count that as experience as well.
When I think about the other construction companies we had to choose from back then in the situations we have already been through, it makes me a bit sick. They certainly would have tried to pass the costs on to us.
It would be nice now if the further path won't be quite so bumpy – but wait – the neighbor is still building his basement.
