It will probably be similar for us.

As I said, we were actually a bit lucky to be able to do the foundation with a crane. That would have certainly cost us a week.

Otherwise, we will soon see how to correctly position a crane, as two middle houses on our street have started excavating the basement – the chief crane director of the municipality will certainly look closely.

Is there actually no opposition party in the town council of Schilda and no tabloid with a letter to the editor?

Unrealistic. Why paint the target on your forehead? Especially since the problem has been overcome, the construction is ongoing. I would refrain from anything that could change that. Plenty of inexperienced builders will follow who can scratch their fingers raw on this issue.

Moreover, I still believe that this was only a lesson. Other cranes will be successfully and legally erected. Especially with terraced houses, it is also incomprehensible why there isn't one crane per row. For example, there can't be three cranes side by side anyway, even without Schilda.

We are all organized in a large WhatsApp group - of course I have let the other builders take part in my issue.

Because there are exactly three or even four different construction projects with three different schedules. The municipality would have liked it that way, but it is completely unrealistic in implementation and planning.

For us, the problem is over for now: pressing the issue further currently brings me nothing except that it costs me time and nerves. And I have to manage both well at the moment.

But only in Schilda is that not even clear to the municipal building officer.

I didn't mean that you should kick someone when they're down either. I'm just amazed at the level of naivety the community can afford. I know small towns where after such bungling, the opposition leader (or the chairman of the grumblers' faction) would be a promising candidate for the new mayoral election, and the rag would be read by more than just retirees for once.
