The inwall units are mounted on the wall and have a different radiation pattern. So no cables from the ceiling. Still not as good as regular APs on the ceiling.

Our little house is quite manageable in terms of floor size. Inwall APs should be sufficient.

I will probably invest the 400 € and get the additional outlets: You only build once, after all.

...so, I have finally said the sentence... about network outlets.

Good decision!

Even though I find 400€ for 3 network sockets expensive (which aren't even really sockets, since hopefully only one keystone will be connected to the installation cable and this will disappear into a hollow box with only a 10cm patch cable sticking out of the ceiling)...

With our general contractor, the surcharge was 50€ per LAN socket!

That's what a power outlet costs... Although six LAN sockets are included in the house price and we have to pay for two additional ones.

A socket costs us 19€...

It's crazy how much that can vary.

The additional 2 outlets are very well spent money!
