did everything right in the really lousy situation. Fingers crossed and don't let yourselves get annoyed!

Oh wow, you really can be pitied! Fingers are crossed, but you reacted exactly right. But it's already disappointing, because you already know now that there can no longer be a follow-up relationship.

Then all the best for today, if someone doesn't want to listen, you have to show them their limits.

I am truly speechless. He still doesn't seem to have recognized the seriousness of the situation and apparently doesn't take you seriously either. And as I said, it's unbelievably bold. Especially digging up the terrace, seriously?! Unbelievable.

Is it possible that he is "simply" a chaotic person and hopelessly overwhelmed rather than unwilling? It doesn't make things easier, but at least it doesn't seem as harsh on a human level, I think. What about his wife, can one have a reasonable conversation with her?

I still hope for now that he is just "chaotic and overwhelmed," then the neighborhood relationship can definitely still become good to very good once everything is in order.

But it will certainly require a proper apology from his side! But yes, for goalkeeper, one can only hope that he is simply overwhelmed. I find it interesting that his construction crew goes along with all this; they should have some expertise and not just start digging up the neighbor's property etc.
