Build a terraced end house with an additional unit (GÜ) on your own

In November, the two-year period for the building obligation expires. Let's see if anything starts moving now - in either direction.

After ages of silence between the Mittelhaus and us, a WhatsApp message came the other day saying that his surveyor found out that our foundation depth is probably at 2.30m and that he therefore cannot build a basement.

He would now be okay with our GÜ carrying out an underpinning at his expense.

We currently feel a bit made a fool of and are very undecided about how to proceed with this – we actually have no more interest in underpinning, even by our GÜ, after all the incidents.

This apparently came up now after our mayor got involved.

Right now, we feel a bit taken for a ride and are very undecided about how to proceed with this – we actually have no more interest in underpinning – including from our construction supervisor after all the incidents.

This apparently came up in the course of our mayor getting involved.
