If it's just about freezing for you, then I can recommend flat GN stainless steel containers. They come in different sizes and things freeze incredibly fast in them. For example, when I freeze berries, including raspberries, they all easily fit stacked in a tall GN container with a lid. Once frozen, they don't stick together but can be transferred loose into a bag right away. I spray cream dollops, for example, into flat containers, and they freeze in no time.

GN containers can of course also be used for this. If they are too expensive or if you don't rely on the GN, stainless steel containers from the Swedes also work. Their dimensions are slightly different from GN, but they cost only a fraction. I use them for grilling and my wife for cooking.

OT: You can get a GN 1/1 container in stainless steel for under €10, which is cheaper than a large Konics from Ikea. Just check Metro or Ebay. The available (stainless steel) lids are practical, so you can stack them.

Sorry for the off topic:

Thanks for the tip. I can’t remember at all why I need space for a tray to freeze. I’ll probably come back to it in autumn during harvest time. I have such a tray from Metro for the steamer... I probably won’t buy more or new ones anymore, as my storage space is unfortunately exhausted when not in use. But thanks anyway.
