The proper option for the washbasin is a corresponding pre-wall installation element.

Ask the craftsmen on site. The plumbers. For a fiver, they will certainly do it faster than you.

Toggle anchors are good and all - but I would anchor something that has weight in the construction, not in the cladding.

A man keeps his word: as some may remember, we were supposed to create an embankment including a base slab for the height difference compensation at the start. Costs approx. 14k. After this proposal from the geotechnical engineer was rejected by the structural engineer, actually more expensive strip foundations had to be made.

However, our general contractor promised us to somehow keep the price at 14k: and he kept his word! Today the corresponding invoice arrived and not a single cent more was charged - bravo!

Otherwise, today we finalized our kitchen planning and are now looking forward to Christmas as a family of four!

I'll show you the pictures here. Let's see if our kitchen meets your high standards – if not, no problem.

However, these are not the final version of the pictures. The niche paneling to the right of the window will be aligned with the bottom edge of the wall cabinet, and the 65 cm wall cabinet on the left will be replaced with a 72 cm one, so that the height of the niche paneling on both sides is matched.

The tall cabinet with the oven will be changed so that the oven is positioned 15 cm lower, leaving space above for a built-in microwave.

Additionally, an Orga-Wall with many useful things, such as a magnetic whiteboard, newspaper rack, and inductive phone charging station, will be added to the left side panel.

The kitchen is a Schüller Glasline with matte ESG glass, which is super easy to maintain. That was very important to us.
