So folks… after my thread here turns three years old next month :eek:, we are probably slowly approaching the home stretch or rather the garden landscaping phase.

Supposedly the basement insulation is coming from the neighbor on Wednesday, which will be installed shortly after - then our terrace and the rest of the garden can finally be done and I can finally order our terrace roofing and the remaining materials… so it remains “exciting”. :cool:

Well... our neighbor's situation is far more dramatic than ours.

Fortunately, the terrace roofing builder has not yet increased prices, but the terrace slabs and the landscaping gardener have.

One of our neighbors offered to act as site manager for the rest. This way, we easily save another €5000 in the garden and will probably do the curbs, fence, beds, and lawn ourselves.

But you can tell again from our neighborhood dispute over the past few months: there are always only losers in such cases - as tragic as that unfortunately is.
