Given the rather difficult circumstances, you have achieved a lot. I hope the unpleasant issues will stop now with you.

For exactly these reasons plus the 70s facade plus the "slimmed down" "south facade," one can come to such terms as terrible.

But apparently, the people with the strange taste are everyone else – and the two ladies and are probably the ones with the highest architectural taste.

What we are building is nationwide standard construction, as it has been built or is being built hundreds of thousands of times. Therefore, it has nothing to do with terrible or awful – it is simply access to tried and tested methods and totally conservative. We don’t expect more than that from our own home.

And we didn’t want more either. If you then have to recklessly throw around such statements every time, just unfollow my topic – it’s that simple.

I also find the draft quite good given the circumstances. The only thing that would personally bother me is the rather limited storage space. But in the office, if necessary, one more cabinet and one less desk can be added. That way, not so many things accumulate. It doesn’t help if you say now "but a basement would be better," but that’s just not an option. With almost everything, there is always some compromise involved. If that ends up being the only one, it will make a good house for goalkeeper!

I have nothing against mass-produced goods - you can jazz them up with simple means. That is completely missing here. I mean, this is a design by an architect; for his money, he could distinguish himself from the already existing mass products. The design is totally loveless. It's not as if it wasn't criticized.

I lived in exactly this standard design for 7 years. So besides the overview that we girls have gained here over the years, it also has something to do with personal experience. And I had a basement with it and the floor plan was bigger. My in-laws also live in this design – also without a basement. They constantly complain that there is no basement and the entrance is so terribly narrow. I am certainly glad to be out of there.

That it affects you so much when someone says their opinion I find rather worrying. To be directly uninvited so that you only get honeyed words doesn’t make it any better.

... But that’s nothing life depends on and our opinion doesn’t have to spoil your fun. I still see a much bigger earth-block that first needs to be solved. So all one can do is wish you strong nerves!
