You can't generally say that. All our spots have a GU10 socket and are equipped with LED bulbs. The advantage is that if something breaks, you can replace the bulb. Yes, LEDs fail much less often than incandescent or halogen bulbs, but it does happen - usually not the LED itself but the small circuit board that converts 230/24/12 V to the ~3V for the LED. If the spots are being prepared in the concrete ceiling anyway, it already has advantages to use those with replaceable bulbs. If retrofitting, those with fixed LEDs are easier, as they are significantly flatter to install.

As I said, we do not know the product and also do not know if it is a concrete ceiling. For bathroom, many things speak for OG. But everything is speculation. Only can say.

You mean direct, directed light that shines along the wall like a spotlight?! Indirect light should be diffuse light and should not make unevenness visible at all. I would take 4 and arrange them on the ceiling as a rectangle/square. And then make them dimmable... Electricians are reluctant to install LEDs, and it is also well dimmable if it’s halogen. Turn on the bathroom mirror separately.

The spotlights are owner-supplied and can be freely chosen. We will certainly use LEDs.

We will stick with the three and add a switchable mirror – that was planned anyway.

Always prefer replaceable bulbs with LEDs. LEDs also break. If one of the three spots is broken, you have to replace it and may not get an identical one. That means one broken = replace all or live with poor aesthetics because models have to be mixed.
