The kitchen is a bit too modern in style for me, but I like the layout and there is plenty of storage space. I also really like the window with a fixed bottom part at the sink.

Great that the GU kept his word! You apparently caught a real gem.

Happy 4th Advent!

Well, when it comes to kitchens, Kerstin is probably the picky one among us.
I think it's quite okay. However, instead of this dark (boring :P) backsplash, I would have a photo glass wall installed. Something that lets me start the day fresh and cheerful right away.

On the one hand, such a glossy backsplash doesn't match the matte glass front, and on the other hand, I believe that these backsplashes are the new wall tattoos - my wife and I find them absolutely terrible.

It may not be my kitchen .. I’m not a fan of SbS and the peninsula stub and would wish for a bit more space between the sink and the cooktop.

, you should definitely have the KFB checked to see if the dishwasher door opens smoothly. It will presumably be an XXL dishwasher, and I estimate that the opened door extends about 65 cm into the room, which could cause problems with the protruding SbS.

Certainly very stylish.

Have the manufacturers got the warping of the carrier material under control? At least that was what stopped us from choosing glass fronts three years ago.

I think your kitchen is great. The style is not really my taste, but that's not what it's supposed to be. There is enough space, and I like the oven next to the countertop – you can easily put trays, roasting pans, liquids for pouring, etc. within reach. You also have enough workspace, and I think the wall for odds and ends is great.

Your general contractor is great too. You chose the right company – I keep my fingers crossed that it continues like this (though I really have no doubts about that ). And one more thing: I think it's great that you let us be part of it.
