10 days and nothing new?
We have simply been too busy the last few days.
The handover went as expected without any issues. Some rework has already taken place or will be done in the coming days.
The issue with the water in the roof has also been resolved. Water had entered from the side through a dormer flashing. The roofer also took another look at the insulation – everything is dry there. Three days of heaters in the attic were enough to dry the spot. It will be finally sealed by plastering.
In the meantime, with a lot of blood and sweat (office grunt, you know), we laid 120 sqm of flooring – I have aches in parts of my body I didn’t even know existed.
On Tuesday, the interior doors arrived, and in the meantime, I started drilling and attaching 250 clips for the molding. Tomorrow the painter will come again to touch up various spots.
Yesterday, all the kitchen appliances arrived, as the kitchen will be installed from Wednesday. Also yesterday, preparations for the exterior plastering started – which will begin on Monday.
Next week, the water softener and our washbasins will be installed – let’s see how the move goes then. Maybe we’ll manage it in calendar week 23.
