Just don’t get cocky. The bottleneck usually comes only after you’ve moved in and suddenly need curtain rods or a doormat.

...or a house number, exterior light, mailbox... and so on.

They should take a look at the Kenwood Chef Titanium etc., we bought a corresponding Kenwood and for the kitchen (although we had bought it earlier, but when the promotion came a few days later I boldly asked) we got a KitchenAid as well. From my point of view, the Kenwood is significantly better made and the better choice. Everything seems more valuable overall, though it could possibly depend on the KitchenAid version. But if it’s not absolutely necessary to have the KitchenAid look, they should take a look at Kenwood.

Very nice, I'm glad to hear that. Then I wish you good luck with the move! And great that you stayed within the budget, few can claim that. But you always kept a strict eye on the budget and allowed yourselves little temptation, that is the reward for it!
