The basement has been finished since yesterday - they were precast parts and the basement ceiling has also already been concreted.

I really keep my fingers crossed that you feel comfortable there! Personally, that would be way too small/cramped for me with all the many properties. We initially searched here for at least 600sqm, but then realized that we'd rather look for 650-700sqm. Now it's 719sqm. But the situation here is not as tight as elsewhere.

Don't let the anticipation for your own four walls be taken away from you, it will still be good.

But overall, the picture does convey a certain closeness. If everyone gets along well, I can imagine it being quite charming. On the campsite, you "live" more with each other than next to each other. Those seeking privacy go to the beach in the evening. I don't know of a better starting point for spontaneous, sociable evenings. But everyday life is not a vacation, you have to want to live like that.

In every multi-family house, life is closer and more "heartfelt," with more social contacts. Whether voluntarily or not...

And: Soundproofing regulations are generally more relaxed in multi-family houses than in terraced housing estates!

Furthermore, almost everywhere the question is not whether 250 m2 of land or 700 m2 of land are allowed, but rather: 100 m2 condominium or 130 m2 in the terraced house? Thanks to the lack of land and the consequently rising prices. Therefore, the idea of 750 m2 sounds boastful and is not productive. Sorry!

What I actually find creepy (and eerie) about it is the idea of not soon having "closed rows" of finished = complete blocks. Because then, assuming tasteful ensembles somewhat coordinated, the small-scale subdivision could be somewhat blurred. Instead, I see the area remaining dotted with building gaps for quite a while—garnished with a cacophony of height offsets, because every builder has to weigh how to dimension their terrain modeling individually. The neighborhood will colloquially be named after the responsible mayor.


And to what goal does it lead to "bash" building on plots that actually allow freestanding single-family houses, just because more and more builders flee into enforced solidarity with other average citizens, settling for bonsai mortgage parking spaces for upright apartments?—does redirecting envy of the rich now at the middle class move anyone forward?
