Sorry for the laugh, this is really a favor for you, but it has high entertainment value for us. That little topping up with mineral concrete probably doesn't even cost 200€ and he's just throwing the dirt in there...

I wish you continued good nerves.

And will you intervene there? I mean, if his house eventually starts to tilt, it will probably lean against yours, right?!

What I wonder is, do they do everything themselves? Isn't a professional hired who then says: "Yes, nice idea, but it won't work?"...

Thank you for letting us be part of it from afar.

Yes... they have hired a professional: Bob the Builder! ;-) This is "Youth Research"... and quite badly done... that's all there is to it. Let's see if I get involved again. Currently, it seems that Viebrockhaus is up to take some action. According to the lawyer, without an expert opinion stating that the filling in this manner is dangerous for the neighboring properties, nothing can be done for the time being.

Ah, ok. Well, in case of doubt, I would do it though, you can team up with the neighbor on the other side.

***Breaking News*** :)

The building authority has now become involved due to the neighbor's complaint and has prohibited the start of construction.

So far, there are no DIN-compliant plans for the deep foundation. Additionally, he must now submit a structural stability certificate for the subsoil, since the pit has already been excavated since August and has now also been altered by the weather.

So it remains exciting.
