Of course, it is your business, and how the woman or the couple feels after the birth is very individual, but you should celebrate celebrations as they come, and a topping-out ceremony can usually only be celebrated once in a lifetime ☺️.

Wishing you continued success!

I agree. I don't like celebrating much anymore, but special days, phases, and life events are different. You can just order a soup and offer a few cases of beer and a pot of coffee. That way the child gets properly celebrated too. Because that surely got neglected during the construction fever.

I think we're definitely talking about thirty euros or so.

Everyone does a topping-out ceremony with goulash soup, but a topping-out ceremony with baby food would be something new.

Whoever evaluated building the first house for an enemy should definitely not miss out on the next houses for a friend and for themselves.

As my mother used to say: "But we are not just anyone!"

We are far from Alete yet. My wife is currently breastfeeding - unfortunately, that's not enough for everyone.

This time fortunately not - the "loud" back then seemed to completely exhaust our eldest. Otherwise, everything's great.

I also advocate for a topping-out ceremony, at least for those involved in the construction... it's the proper thing to do, and especially considering the challenges being tackled with such great commitment from the general contractor, it's really a nice way to say thank you! For friends and acquaintances, there can be an inauguration party sometime next year...

Then I wish you that your girl remains such a pleasantly quiet roommate even after the honeymoon phase... mine gradually got going with the nightly noise level after about two weeks...
