And even cheaper are aluminum U-profiles, available as 3m pieces for 10 euros each. I installed them back then in my old apartment and in the granny flat of the house.

Combined with mosaic, you can avoid cutting tiles, for example, and install whole ones.

I really don’t like the metal edges. Luckily, my darling doesn’t either. So we decided on plastic, tone on tone with the tiles. We were lucky, the shade was very similar.

Is that so? That applies to the flooring, but not to a "color concept for all rooms." Something is being confused here. Just think of the paint industry: it is booming because individual rooms are given a certain impression in terms of color according to their purpose. While in the master bathroom you want to apply something luxurious or calming, in the guest bathroom one might use something exotic or extreme. A black guest toilet looks brilliantly elegant, but not in the master bathroom. In the children's bathroom, a bit of color is gladly used. And the children's rooms should also stand out from the parents' bedroom.

Pommer´sche Beene and French shoes, my late grandmother would have said. A terraced house is naturally structured in small units, it does not become a loft even with consistent coverings.

The first floor would then also be almost finished - the other picture shows the current status in the area.
