Build a terraced end house with an additional unit (GÜ) on your own

As already mentioned, the distance of the projector depends on the choice of the projector. So it must be decided in advance which device you want.

I also wouldn’t just have a pipe concreted in. I would also have a large flush-mounted box concreted in. This way, the cables can be properly hidden if necessary. In addition, there is space to push the cables back a few centimeters, etc.

I had the exact same done with our ceiling outlet. Inside there is now a keystone connected to the installation cable and a short LAN cable attached to it.

Maybe there are also HDMI sockets combined with a power outlet so that you only need short connection cables to the projector?!

I would generally want to avoid having visible sockets on the ceiling. Especially if it is only a preparation.

Projectors in general I find annoying. They don’t look good, are noisy, need a separate sound system, real 4k is unaffordable, etc.
OLEDs are practically infinitely scalable. I think they will outcompete home projectors.

I would look at ultra short throw projectors. Or whatever those things are called.

Our ground floor is almost finished. However, we will probably have an annoying one-week break because, due to the hassle with the soil surveyor a few weeks ago, the concrete slab (part of the structural framework) could not be ordered on time. So after this week, work will presumably continue again from 04.11.

Yesterday we had an appointment with the project manager regarding the windows. According to the schedule, the roof will probably be installed around mid/end of November, and the windows at the beginning of December. That works for now!

Be glad it's only one week. Our general contractor forgot it (and without a good reason at that) and it caused a three-week standstill…
