The windows on the upper floor garden side have a parapet height of 100 cm. The outdoor unit would still fit underneath. Or possibly in the attic if it is outside the thermal envelope.
The common people know the "empty conduit," the electrician distinguishes between the ordinary empty conduit, whose contents must be replaceable, and the protective conduit. The latter is intended for protection during the construction phase or for installation in concrete ceilings.
Then he should say it like that – and not arbitrarily assume that when the client wants empty conduits, he only means protective conduits and wants everything reopened at the slightest changes.
Well, but honestly, the electricians are right. Who here has ever replaced media cables? And has also successfully pulled them through the proper conduit pipes and DIN-compliant bending radii? Whoever now installs CAT7 or higher into the wall will never touch it again for the rest of their life.
Many electricians just see DIN 18015-1 as a rough guideline. At the price a network socket costs here, I would never accept anything other than running the cables completely in the conduit. The typical electrician’s response is probably: "Even if we put the cables in a conduit, you can’t replace them anymore anyway."
I agree with that.
My friend (electrician) said the same thing yesterday while walking through.
The "can’t replace them anymore" part? I installed 3 conduits myself to retrofit stair spots. I was an absolute layman in this respect and my bending radii were anything but standard-compliant. But with two people, the whole thing was so easy that I can’t understand that statement at all. I still want to ask again here. Just out of interest, because I don’t understand it.
Somehow I’m a bit confused about the cable routing? Only one conduit is coming? Where does the network cable end?
Where does the yellow cable go? Into the conduit as well?
In this picture? Goes into the conduit and then into the house connection room onto a patch panel.
That's right. Your technology was in the attic. Now it all makes sense...
Well, but honestly, the electricians are right.

And successfully pulled them through the prescribed conduits and DIN-compliant bending radii?
Whoever now installs CAT7 or higher into the wall will never touch it again for their whole life.
I have. Even duplex. And you can see here how quickly something can happen. In the photo, the conduit looks gigantic... but it's only M25...
Similar theses were made 20 years ago. Nobody knows what data volumes will be needed in 10-20 years. You are probably right, but with minimal effort, precautions were taken.
