I think you’re mistaken. I’ll list what we have inside over the winter: garden chairs, cushions, sun lounger, grill, bicycles, lawn mower, tires, tools, shovels, hoes, brooms, shelves for stuff. Also, the kids’ bicycles quickly become 26” wheels as big as your bike.

We have no tires, the grill stays outside under the later terrace roof. Chairs stay as well, except for two folding chairs, also under a tarpaulin under the roof.

Regarding the bicycles, I agree with you. However, for our "property" of 90 sqm, we won't really need many gardening tools. ;)

I know you have no choice because you gave up the basement :-p but you sound just like those who argue here that they don't have a wardrobe in their 80 sqm small apartment and want to manage without a wardrobe in their 150 sqm house with a tiny hallway and planned 2 children.

I just want to say, we have a terrace roof, our neighbors too, and still everyone/we put away the things you don't want to store away in autumn/winter.

Yes, I believe that. I can see what's inside my storage shed; just the bicycles almost fill his space. You also have to be able to access the bikes reasonably, you can't play Tetris there because the children also want to get the bikes out by themselves.

The grill is used year-round (dazwischen mit Haube) and the patio furniture also stays outside covered. Never had the need to put them anywhere *shrug*

I also find it quite tight with children, we have 3x6 and just manage to close the door…
