Who else was the seller of the plots? City? Municipality? It’s madness to have to set L-blocks just because the neighbor isn’t there yet. Can’t one try to organize a joint action for all affected plots? And jointly pile up the 150 cm, interspersed by those who go 150 cm deeper at the position of their houses.
The municipality is selling all the townhouse plots in this area and now has problems selling the remaining middle houses, since the roof shapes are already determined and the end houses have already started their planning. Because there are many townhouse groups and the end houses are being built sometimes with a basement and sometimes without, the middle house faces quite a few shoring or underpinning works, which are financially not insignificant. Also, the plots with 141 sqm are simply terribly small.
A joint action is also difficult for this reason, since the already sold houses are in very different planning stages. Some only moved in at the last minute and hadn’t even had their first appointment with a construction company yet, others, like us, are about to start building. This concerns a total of 20 plots in the townhouse area – you can’t organize that properly. Therefore, many will probably choose the L-block variant or the basement – it was clear from the beginning that this would be the case given the type of plot allocation and complete freedom to build.
However, we already have a large WhatsApp group where people are exchanging ideas and later plan to mutually dump the unneeded basement excavation soil into the 1.50 m deep garden and discuss other things. So people already know each other, and I hope that there will be a nice community later. We are all young families of almost the same age with a common goal. I also see it a little bit as a social experiment.
