that's how it looks too. If you want to do it properly, you have to glue the floor

Congratulations on moving in! Is the floor practically directly on the screed? The vapor barrier (what for, actually?) doesn’t really play a role for the floor. Normally, at least an impact sound insulation is used. Sure, without a basement that sounds pointless at first, but it also secures the floor and should even out some unevenness. Are the baseboards already installed and glued, I assume? If it already annoys you, I would redo it room by room anyway. Either just with impact sound insulation or additionally with leveling compound beforehand. That dries quite quickly. Now the furniture can still be quickly moved out again.

The trim pieces are attached with clips and not glued. However, my wife currently has no desire for me to get involved again. She does not find it bad at all. We will probably leave everything as it is for now and then I'll see in the fall if I feel like doing it.

Friends of ours have exactly the same problem in their new building. When I walked over their floor, I didn’t notice it at all. It is therefore probably very much type-dependent whether you even notice it and whether it then bothers you.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it will eventually resolve itself!
