The floor plan is just a draft... we just like the house on the outside... no idea if I’m allowed to link it? Cuboid 7.5m by 11m with flat roof or very flat gable roof with north/south gable. The storage rooms shown in the floor plan would be used depending on the situation (kitchen/pantry or office upstairs).

So if you get a Kelle, I would actually put everything there that can be put there, such as washing, technology, utility room, storage, etc. The bedroom upstairs with a view of the closet would be too small for me, and you currently walk directly towards the closet side, which I don’t like. It’s similar in the two children's rooms; I would rather move forward with the 60cm, but that would probably mean a deeper plan change. Otherwise, I basically like the straightforward design.

I almost wanted to complain about the same things.

Since you have a cellar, I would also skip all the storage rooms and make the children's rooms as well as the bedroom bigger.
On the ground floor, maybe plan a larger hallway and a wardrobe niche? I find that quite important and it is often forgotten.

But it’s all a matter of taste or personal preference.

The thing with the wardrobe in the parents' bedroom is not disturbing for us... we have it now too and do not need more space for clothes. I would also widen the second children's room by the "projection." I currently don't know how I should integrate a niche in the entrance area on the ground floor...? But basically, I cannot assess whether the open-plan area (kitchen/dining/living room) is not too narrow?

Where the technology currently is; move it to the basement or possibly also integrate it into the garage to gain space for living. Wardrobe, shoes, small seating option, all that can be well planned in a small space. There would still be a sufficiently large pantry left. We are planning a similar floor plan and ultimately it is a matter of taste. Some may not like the direct line of sight from cooking to living or miss one or the other offset. I can imagine many things; it also depends on room height, proportion of windows/glass doors. So far, these particularly seem not yet integrated in context with actual use/furnishing. I would definitely want more glass, but shaded with Venetian blinds and in front a covered outdoor seating area in front of the kitchen and terrace along the entire side. How wide is the open-plan room? Floor-to-ceiling height on the ground floor?

Hmm, purely visually and in terms of square meters, I think everything has been maximized for 140m². Of course, the visual aspect - everything in one room - has to appeal, of course. Personally, the kitchen would be far too small for me, too little counter space/storage etc., which is why I always liked it separated in an L-shape, not necessarily with a door, but you can really position the kitchen better there and can gain more space, always at the expense of something else, of course.

By the way, we were initially more at 135-145m², but currently are just over 150m², as you really notice the difference... Especially with the size of the children's rooms, space in the kitchen and also in the hallway area with the wardrobe. Of course, it's also all a question of price.
