Have you chosen Schellevis panels? We have them, and for about 50m2 with 8 steps it cost around 2k more than the ceramic option. Around 25k. Could you create smaller lawn areas on your property and work more with small slopes/banks?

Yes, the Schelllevis slabs are indeed currently included in the offer! Do you have the open-pored or finely ground variant? And am I understanding correctly that you paid 25k€ for laying the slabs and a staircase with 8 steps made of this material? That would already be quite a bit cheaper than with us.

We have the open-pored panels in light gray. They have not gotten too hot in the sun so far. We are very satisfied with the panels. 25k is correct. Here you can see our planning. And curb stones around the whole house. I had made the planning in 3D and we did not have any panel too many. It went very well.

We have built three stairs from large graywacke blocks. However, these are not used for the main entrance,
we could lay down lawns, but we do not want to.
For garden work, we have a [Raupendumper]. It could also transport the material to your place. The tractor is for sale, that was a crazy idea of mine.

I would not immediately assume bad intentions of the garden landscapers who do not respond. Yes, that is poor style, no question about it. But as a garden landscaper, you also first need to have the appropriate machines and the corresponding experience with a steep wall in order to be able to implement your wishes. Another reason could be that the garden landscapers simply assume they are writing their offer for the trash bin because you will not buy at prices around 200,000 EUR anyway. Over time, you develop a feel for whether the customer is aware of what their wishes approximately cost and whether they will be completely shocked by the offer. Then the work is not worth it.

Have you checked what your 23m basalt palisade alone at 150-180cm height costs? You will easily spend 500 EUR per meter just for material, so almost 12,000 EUR. Plus foundations, earthworks, drainage, etc. That is easily 30,000 EUR executed by a professional.

I have been struggling for months with a garden wall just under 1m high made of concrete paving stones to catch 50cm in height and have already sunk a good 5,000 EUR in material for almost 30m...

The material alone for your project will break into six figures because everything is supposed to be extreme and, of course, natural stones.

Maybe you could post some pictures and the community here will participate in brainstorming how to make the garden beautiful while spending less money. Maybe you also have to let go of what you would like and instead focus on what is actually possible or economically sensible.
