What space requirement is there for a socket in the window reveal inside?

in principle, it is initially just a thought. Especially with the window sill, I can well imagine it if there is Christmas lighting on the window sill and it can be plugged in via a short path, rather than laying long cables somewhere, even if it is just down to the socket near the floor.

Here is another picture of our shell construction.
On the left a sealing, on the right the plaster rail. There was no more space for a socket.

How it was then solved can also be seen.

I find these narrow reveals ugly. Sockets in the reveal are absolutely recommended; in hindsight, we should have done that more often.

We have some too. Almost everywhere. Super practical and visually absolutely unobtrusive. At least not to us.
