Wait with the building application because of the child construction allowance

If in 2016 the child is also excluded from the income limit, then it becomes totally absurd. Then many academic families with young children are out.

At that time, as full-time earners, we earned 175k gross together.
Today, with a child, the situation is completely different. Now I am the sole earner and it is only about 110k gross.
Therefore, considering the childless period is completely pointless.

No child, no allowance. That's obvious. But with 175k€ gross...come on, I wouldn't really feel disadvantaged there. But for you, it was the severance pay that inflated it, right? The "only 110k€" is actually really absurd, by the way. Sorry to contradict you a bit here, but others really need it more, don't they?

From my perspective, the number of children at the time of application counts; everything else just makes it unnecessarily complicated, see for example the funding guideline in Bavaria: "plus 15,000 EUR for each additional child counted in the household, for whom child benefit entitlement exists at the time of application" [Erläuterungen, Ziffer 20]

I don't see it that way. If someone earns less, that's not my fault. Moreover, you can also question why someone earns more. Has that person invested many years in studies and sacrificed a lot during that time? Does that person work 55 hours a week instead of 40? You can extend this reasoning as you like.

And honestly, no one really "needs" this support. Anyone who bases their decision to build on this support should better not build.

We are increasingly falling into a kind of socialism. At the end of the day, the one who perhaps makes more effort doesn't necessarily have more money than the one who does less. And that is simply unfair and will further divide our society. Performance no longer pays off.

Compare an ALG1 recipient with an ALG2 recipient. The Hartz 4 recipient ultimately has more money than the one who just became unemployed.
Because daycare is free, etc.

Exactly that is the point, we (almost) don't need it. So why get upset?

Well, if you see it that way, you have to scrap nonsense like [Baukindergeld] and provide it as a wage for those who do a lot for little money (elderly care, kindergarten teachers, etc. pp.). If performance is supposed to pay off, work must first be properly paid before subsidizing people who can afford something expensive like building anyway.
