Phew, luckily only high earners read this forum, otherwise you probably would have attracted a lot of bad thoughts
€105,000, that is, let’s say, 2 well-earning academics, one earns 70 for full-time, one 35 for part-time.
I just googled and found figures: The median income of families in Germany was €40,704 net in 2017. That is maybe €60 gross for a family (?)
Anyone above that belongs to the top 50%. That’s not enough, without inheritance etc., for building a house.

dude we have problems, I got out of the emergency ride. 28 years physiotherapist or whatever he calls himself 1,900 € gross / month

Yes, it is. But then you just have to give up some things like expensive vacations or the Audi in the garage and also do a few things yourself.

70k is not a good income for an academic. That is a completely normal IG Metall tariff wage for an engineer working 35 hours per week with average allowances.
