So we, or rather our construction company, have received a letter from our city administration dated 09.01.2018.

Subject: Notification according to Paragraph 67 Section 2 of the State Building Code

"We hereby inform you that a building application procedure for the aforementioned project will not be conducted. Construction work may commence."

However, it is addressed to our construction company because it was registered as the client in the application.

We have not received anything else from the authorities.

What do you think? Is this the decisive letter?

The contract with the construction company was, on the other hand, signed on 07.09.17.

For the Bavarian homeownership allowance, a total of 700 million will be allocated in 2019 and 2020. By 2018, 85k units have been supported. According to statistics, from January to March 2017, about 7200 building permits with up to 2 residential units were approved (essentially the target group). In other words, the budget would actually last until the end of 2020. However, I do not actually believe that.

The question confuses me a bit. I submitted my building application on 06.12.2017, the notice is dated 14.03.2018. Is there a problem?

According to the BMI homepage today, the Baukindergeld can be applied for starting on 18.09. There are no further details yet on the KfW page.

Regarding deadlines, the short article states:

New buildings are eligible for funding if the building permit was issued between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2020.

When purchasing new or existing buildings, the notarized purchase contract must have been signed between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2020.

That means, from my point of view, the acquisition of new buildings by the developer, i.e. the notarized contract, is relevant. Now I am looking forward to the guideline.

According to the respective state building regulations, only projects requiring notification are eligible for funding,... Does this mean a building permit or building application as an exemption under the development plan, correct?
