I thought so too. Complaining about socialism, but considering a state-subsidized job appropriate. Great achievement of a high performer...

Well, just imagine. There are people who work on their own account to support their family and there are people who get an office provided by their employer. I wouldn’t see what’s shameful about that. The subsidy would be for the part under 120m2 anyway.

By the way, a home office is ecologically unbeatable. Since someone brought up eco here.

Envious society Germany!
Do you even know what "home office" means and why some people have one?
In my case, after our branch was closed, there was a choice:
home office, move 300 km away, or dismissal due to operational reasons.

So, what is better now?
Do you even know what can be deducted?

They can do as much home office as they want, but whining because this additional space is not eligible for funding has a certain taste.

I'll help out - in my case, nothing because there is no exclusivity for me. The employer would not sign that they don’t have a spot for me. So doubly wrong.

And once again for you, why should the taxpayer subsidize your home office twice? If you need that, build a 150m2 house.
