So where

As far as I understand, the parliamentary vote is supposed to take place on Wednesday and the budget will be confirmed again on Thursday. That would mean the last changes are done and it would be finalized as a "law" at the beginning of July

This new area limitation is total nonsense. Who can manage with 120 m² with two children? You wouldn't even need to build yourself for that.

And the big investor varies the price depending on whether Otto Müller buys the apartment for himself or as an investor?

No, of course not. The apartment costs 300k and the investor pays 300k. The family of four pays 300k and gets 24k back from the state.

And yes, it actually saves trips. That is immensely important. Mobility costs will rise significantly in the coming years, partly also politically mandated.

A topic currently often discussed is, for example, the dismantling of the sewage system in rural areas and the transition to so-called decentralized solutions, I hope you know what is meant.

Here in the forum, the opinion is usually different, but yes, you can manage with it! And I also find the limitation harsh, but justified. Now only the absolute minimum is subsidized; anyone who wants more simply has to continue to cover everything themselves.

The pursuit of even more m2 is really nonsense. We live with 3 children in 129 m2, and each child has their own room, we have a bedroom with a dressing room and a sufficiently large bathroom with a huge bathtub. According to the law, we would still be eligible for support. And it is more than enough to offer all residents a "species-appropriate" life.

The additional hobby room or the extra-large living room is simply not subsidized by the state. And since it involves taxpayers’ money, I find that completely right.

But that’s a nice investor. He sells everything at cost and bears the additional costs himself. What a perfect world.

Why should the investor sell for 300k when the market now allows 320k?
