E14 = approx. 3,900 gross for a DR DR from the private sector. No one goes for that. They become a department head somewhere and earn significantly more in the private sector.

The only incentive in the public sector is the secure job once you have a permanent position and don’t steal a golden spoon.

Hello everyone (yay first post),

a quick question about the Baukindergeld itself. How do you understand the term "first-time purchase"? Does that mean only families who have been renting and are buying property for the first time? Specifically, we live in an apartment that I inherited from my parents. If my wife and I now build a house (planned, we have a confirmed plot), would we be considered first-time buyers in that sense?

In coalition agreements or drafts of coalition agreements, many things were already stated that then did not come to pass or were at least quite different. In this respect ... Who should be able to answer this question(s) before there is a publication in the Bundesgesetzblatt or Bundesanzeiger?

I would not make my plans dependent on this or the next government.

Until that is fixed in writing, I would rather be annoyed by the adjustments to the conditions (e.g. Program 153) of the KfW. (Ab 12.04)

When we built, you couldn’t deduct craftsmen’s invoices for new construction at all. At some point, there was a change allowing craftsmen’s invoices to be claimed from move-in onwards... Good that our garden was finished 1 year earlier... We would have maximized the amount... Well, whatever...

No, I am not making my plans dependent on that. I also understand that nothing will come of it or that it might look different afterwards. It was simply a question of whether someone can imagine more behind the definition or maybe has already read it. I also understand that no legally binding answer can come from that.

For the changes at KFW, we are too late anyway. Compared to the (current) conditions of our house bank, the question arises whether it would have been interesting at all. I could be annoyed... but it's not in my hands. Just as little as the interest rate development that might come in the next few months before we are ready to sign.
