Naively, I called the KfW today to inquire about the current status. Typical hotline: First, the budget must be approved, etc. And they want to clarify quite a few things before the government’s summer break begins. Basically things that were already settled last week and we are already in the summer break. They also said it might be October. Has anyone heard anything about the schedule?

Does it not not matter now when it comes? I'm relaxed now. You only get the money after submitting the registration certificate anyway.

Not all details are known yet, so not everyone can relax. It is also still unclear for us whether we will get it for one or two children (and whether we still have any influence on that).

You are right. We are simply the easiest case. Building application submitted this week, second child, first property & in the income bracket.
