Hello everyone,
I have been dealing with the topic of Baukindergeld for the past few days, but I am not very satisfied with my research results.
I am not sure if we are eligible.
Income-wise, it would definitely fit.
However, I read everywhere that the subsidy can only be applied for upon first purchase as a family.
From when is a family considered a family?
In our case:
In 2003, my then girlfriend and I bought half of a semi-detached house from my parents. We had no children at that time. We have been living in this half since then. Since 2007 we have been married and have two children.
In 2011 we bought another half of a different semi-detached house. However, this is currently, and I hope will continue to be, fully rented out.
Now it is like this: We received a great offer from a neighbor for a complete semi-detached house. As a family of four, we would now like to use this entirely ourselves.
What do you think, could one apply for Baukindergeld in this situation?
You can try, but it probably won't help.
Since only the first purchase as a family counts, the matter is clear, and this passage is detrimental to the subsidy.......
